It is our belief that children learn best through play.
A Typical Day at the nursery consists of planned pre school education which covers Language and Literacy, Number Work, Knowledge and Understanding of The World in which we live art and craft work, quiet time, story time, as well as free and structured play. The children are encouraged to build positive relationships and we aim to build their self esteem, while at the same time learning right from wrong. All this is done using the standards set out using the framework of Birth to Three Matters and the Stepping Stones of the Foundation Stage.
We have a large garden which we utilise, all year round, weather permitting. This is especially well used during the summer months and gives the children the opportunity to play freely in the open air and burn off that surplus energy.
The Nursery aims to work 'with' parents and will always be willing to listen to their suggestions and requests.
