All our staff hold Paediatric First Aid Certificates and have had Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. They all hold various levels of formal training, ranging from Degree Level through to NVQ's. Training is ongoing and maintained via attendance at college, university or NVQ Centers plus additional in house training provided by qualified trainers.

We have two Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators, Andrea and Karen. They are specially trained to help children who may be having some difficulties achieving their goals. They work hand in hand with specialist in this field.

Woodlands Nursery Supports the staff by providing opportunities for learning and Personal Development.

We also support schools and colleges by offering work experience for their students, However, under no circumstances will your child be supervised by persons without a CRB check. (Temporary students are not required to be checked and they are not allowed to work with any child without direct supervision)

 

We are pleased to anounce that, due to our retirement the nursery will continue under the ownership of Sarah and Andrea, our Supervisor and Deputy, from the start of the new term.

Peter & Linda wish them every success for the future and are certain that they will continue to recieve the support of all our families as have done so in the past
