Woodlands Nursery & Preschool cannot accept children in the nursery who are sick. We believe that this is the time when they need the attention only a parent can give. They should be clear of infection for 48 hours before returning to the nursery. We can only give medication if they are clearly prescribed using the form provided by the nursery. All medicines etc MUST be clearly marked. with the childs name.
Please remember your child does not have to start compulsary education until the term after their 5th birthday. Think of the advantages of them stayin with us.
- We open 8:00am to 6:00pm. Schools only open 9:00am to 3:00pm
- You then either have to shorten your working day or pay a childminder.
- We open 51 weeks per year. School only open term times. Who takes care of your child then?
- Better staff ratio than school 5:1. Schools often have a ratio of 16:1
These are just a few of the reasons why you should keep your child with us, at woodlands Nursery & Preschool until they are five.
Don't allow the schools threaten you by saying there may not be a space if they do not start when they say they want them. They must be a place available!
