We promote children's rights for them to be strong, resilient, and listen to, by creating an environment that extends their interest and knowledge.

British Values

We support Ofsted's 'fundamental British Values' in a positive way. We promote Democracy, Rule of Law, Individual liberty, Mutual Respect and Tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

Paediatric First Aid Level 3 Trained

All staff at Woodlands Nursery and Preschool are trained to Level 3 in Paediatric First Aid.

Outdoor Play

All Children have access to outside play whatever the weather. "There is no such things as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing' Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

Enhanced DBS Checked

All members of Staff are Enhanced DBS checked and on completion are signed up to the DBS Update Service.

Home Cooked Meals

At Woodlands we employ a cook to prepare and cook a varied menu and promote healthy eating. We also cater for Dietary and Religious needs.

Famly App

We use a secure, safe and easy to use Digital Nursery system, that keeps parents up to date on their children's learning and development and ;lots more.

Funding

We offer Early Years Funding to 2, 3 and 4 year old's criteria may apply. We also take Company Childcare Vouchers and are part of the Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

Opening

Woodlands is open 51 weeks of the year 8am till 6pm Monday to Friday only closing for Bank Holidays and a Week at Christmas.
